About the Museum of Prints and Printmaking

Throughout the Print Club of Albany’s storied history, the club has received numerous artist, collector, and member donations of art, resulting in our extensive permanent collection of over 20,000 fine art prints. In the 1990s, the Print Club established a charter for the Museum of Prints and Printmaking, with the ambition of housing and exhibiting the Print Club of Albany’s permanent collection in the Capital Region for visitors to learn, enjoy, and experience the artform. We are pleased to now operate our seven-gallery boutique museum in Schenectady, NY, where we display pieces from our permanent collection, and organize rotating exhibits in the Scaglione gallery. Admission for visitors is free of charge.

Interested in volunteering with us? We are always looking for local volunteers with a variety of skills and backgrounds to staff our open hours, manage the permanent collection and exhibits, organize events, and even to join the board. Contact us at info@pcaprint.org to inquire.
