About Us

The Print Club of Albany, a national organization with a local-sounding name, is a 92-year-old arts organization which has a unique history in the world of fine-art prints.

Each year since 1933, the Print Club of Albany has commissioned a prominent artist of the 19th-20th centuries to produce a limited-edition fine-art Presentation Print for our members, with editions currently up to 100 prints. Our members pay dues and receive a print that is often worth more than the cost of membership. It remains a 100% member funded effort, and we seek out a diverse array of compositions and techniques for our commissions.

The Print Club of Albany has had many current and former Artist Members as well. Prospective artist members should submit three slides or pictures of their work and a resume or CV. If accepted as an Artist Member, one print must be donated to our permanent collection of more than 20,000 prints and related materials. Artist Members may pay dues, receive a Presentation Print and become voting members.
